Pope Benedict XVI is conducting a three-day seminar on evolution. Herewith a prayer that the pontiff gets it right. This advocate of enlightenment hopes that his church, on this contentious issue, can make him proud to partake in the transubstantiated communion.

Yes.
And what would "getting it right" on this issue look like?
Declaring that evolution does happen and that acknowledging as much is consistent with the Catholic faith.
But THEISTIC evolution, no?
Could you imagine the pope saying anything else?
