The NBC drama, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, recently showcased New Orleans musicians sponsored by the Tipitina's Foundation, a charitable organization to restoring and sustaining New Orleans's musical community. Studio 60's Christmas episode, which aired December 4, featured Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews in a speaking role.
