It's been a while since I've been able to post regularly. And the posting hiatus may continue for some time yet. But here's a Hilary Duff video to keep you entertained. Yes, Hilary Duff. Why? Partly because I can, and partly because, oddly enough, the song seems appropriate for the beginning of a new job.

Belated congratulations on your new job. It's gratifying to know the 'powers-that-be' sometimes possess the good sense to recognize talented, gifted and uncommonly intelligent individuals such as yourself, individuals deserving of positions that permit them to routinely exercise their considerable powers of insight, judgment and expertise on behalf of the rest of us, thereby exemplifying that sort of selfless social service that fills out the deepest meaning of the common good.
